Joe A. Hollingsworth, Jr. is the CEO and owner of The Hollingsworth Companies. The Hollingsworth Companies are a collection of varied businesses crowned by the Industrial Building Program. With over 40 years of property development experience, Joe has a history of breaking down the road blocks that often prevent others from achieving their business goals. He has documented the rise of the South as the world's fourth largest economy in his book The Southern Advantage. This history parallels the growth of The Hollingsworth Companies Industrial Building Program from developing single lot properties in East Tennessee to the creation of three large dedicated industrial parks in Alabama, North Carolina, and Virginia. Joe served as Vice-Chair with Governor Don Sundquist on the Tennessee Board for Economic Growth, which developed the first long-term economic development strategy in Tennessee's history.
